What I Love Most Today is, "You know you're a Mom when..."

As moms we are all living parallel lives, I just know it.  So, in the past I've done these posts all about the day to day things us moms deal with when it comes to kids and home life.  I'm bringing it back for What I Love the Most.  Here we go...

You know you're a mom when..

You feel so accomplished and on task when you promptly fold your laundry upon its exit from the dryer.  Except putting it away may take a little longer...like two or three days.

You're helping your toddler, for the fifth time that day, to clean up her dollies, doll clothing and kitchen stuff...

But, you tell her to go ahead and leave the kitchen stuff there in front of the bed because it's so cute, the way she organized it and lined it up.  

Your two year old only wants to wear his five year old brother's clothing, hence his pulling up the pants.  And you allow it because you don't have the time or the patience to talk him out of it...day after day.  

You let your youngest kids have a free for all in the dirt, in the backyard, because it's keeping them busy, if only for 10 minutes.  

Their "artwork" is plastered all over the front of the fridge, making it hard to open and close the doors without it all flying everywhere, yet you keep it there.   And your husband comes home and asks, "what is all of this paper, all over the fridge?"  And you say, "artwork, not paper."  And then you think, husbands are definitely not moms.

 Your daughters are constantly getting into the nail polish and getting the handles all nasty.  And you keep thinking you will remove the nicer polish and put it somewhere safer, out of the kids' reach, but you never do.   And there is a hot wheel car and a sharpie in with the nail polish,  :i:)  Totally typical. :):_:_

You walk by your kitchen that is so clean and you find yourself just staring at it for a few moments because it will look as if a tornado has hit it in the next ten minutes.

Your refrigerator handles always look this way.   Always.

Your nightstand drawer has been taken over by legos.  

The kids rooms look like this within ten minutes of waking up.

You think there is nothing more precious than to see your kids while they are sleeping.  Because when they go to sleep the slate is wiped clean.  Naughtiness, feistiness, and all the rest of it disappear.  Until, the next morning and you do it all over again.  What I Love Most is, "You know you're a mom when..."
