Kalen-The awesome hiding place

Last night my mom had to go study for french. So when she left my dad said we need to read scriptures and then we can do something quiet. We decided to play hide and go seek. The first person to hide was me! So when they counted in the backyard I went out the front door and ran to the backyard. When they went inside I jumped over the fence into the backyard. I was in the backyard for a long time. But I had to go inside because it was so cold. My know hiding spot was in the bathroom. Then Gwen found me because she had to go to the bathroom. I love hide and go seek. For Halloween I am going to be a missionary. I am going to were my suit and make a name tag.

Kalen-The temple trip

Yesterday we went to a paino concert at the temple. The orchistra played The Nutcracher dance,and a song that was really long. My mom invited a freind from her french class to come to the paino cocert. His name was Peter. My mom also is inviting him to church. He said he would love to come. Talking about church the my primary had its primary program. I had to right about temples. I was really nervise but when I got up to the speaker I was not scared. Some thing else that we are going to do is trunker chreat. I am going to be a missonary for Halloween. On sunday I am going to pass out candy to trick-or-treaters. I can not wait for Halloween.

Gwyneth-The north wind and the sun.

The North wind and the sun once had a quarrel about who was the stronger."I am the stronger than you."said the North Wind."I can blow down trees,and whip up waves on the sea."I am stronger than you" said the Sun. "I can make flowers open ,and turn fields of green to gold."So they argued back and forth ,day after day.The East wind and the moon became very cross with them and both suggested they have a competition to decide once and for all who was the strongest.A man with a big over coat was walking along the path."Whichever one of you can first get that man to take off his coat is the strongest;said the moon,"And then we will have no more quarrels!"(:so the North wind and the sun agreed to the competition.The North wind began.He blew and blew,the coldest bitter wind he could manage.The great over coat flapped round the mans legs as he struggled against the wind,but he only pulled the coat closer round his neck to keep out the bitter cold.Then it was the sun`s turn.She rose high in the sky and shone down on the man in the big over coat.Warmer and warmer she shone,until the man unbuttoned the coat.Still the Sun beamed down,and finally the man flung off his coat sweat pouring down his face.The sun had won!(:The North wind blew off.So when the North wind blows remember he is still very cross!

Kalen- My writing assignment

Well today I have to do a writing assignment for Ocean Grove charter School. I had to right about a place I've been in California. I wrote about when I went snow boarding. here is my writing assignment. - If you like Rip sticking then you will like snow boarding. One year I went snowboarding with my dad and a couple of friends. We went to Heavenly ski and snowboarding resort. When I got there I was really scared but when I got on my board I felt like I was born to snowboard. One thing that is hard is that you have to get one a chair lift,to get to the top of the run way. How get on is you unbuckle one leg off the board, and then you sit down. So basically your snowboard is hanging in the air. When you get to the top you get off the chair and buckle yourself to your board. Once your ready you go down the hill. The way I like to do it is jump forward so you don't have to move yourself forward. I like to go down on my heals. To turn you have to go one your toes and whip your board around. When you get to the bottom of the run you get on the chair lift and do it over again!!!

Kalen - The fair

A couple of days ago my family and the Stepans went to a fair with real knights. When we got there we saw a jousting match. The first knights to joust were ENGLAND .VS. BRAZIL. In this jousting match I was going for England. As they jousted England fell off his horse and as Brazil went to stab England,but England kicked dirt into his face.(: Then England jumped up and stabbed him. England won!!! After the jousting match we played old fashion tug-o-war. To play old fashion tug-o-war you need a long rope, then you pull on the rope the first person that moves there feet loses.
