A big Happy Birthday to Shaney!!!!!!!
Sure his birthday was actually July 9th, but this is how I role these days. A little behind on the blog posts. Pool parties are the best way to go for birthdays. It's the best way to celebrate.
Shane reminds me more and more of his oldest sister Gwyneth. Most things come easy for him. He's reading, writing and he LOOOOVES math. He will sit at the homeschool table and do ten pages of math sheets. He has a good memory and he's a happy boy. One of my favorite things about him is his imagination. He plays with toys like nobodies business. He makes friends wherever he goes and he's gentle. And, out of all of my kids he goes to bed, stays in bed and falls asleep within five minutes, he's the only one, so he's a favorite in that regard. :)

ReplyDeleteSwim parties are the best! No destroyed house, clean up is easy and who needs to plan activities when they can swim. We did a swim party for Addy this year. So much fun! Wish my kids would sleep. It is the only thing keeping us from going back for another child. Last night we were woken up three times between Addy and Avery. All exhausted! However, I would do it in a heartbeat even with no sleep. Now just gotta change my husbands mind.
